Community Health Day at Satgar Para village
A successful Community Health Day was held at Satgar Para village on April 20 with 107 participants including 48 students, 35 women and siblings and community members. They all received a medical check up and over the counter medicine of needed. A woman doctors was chosen to examine the women and provide preventive health education on hygiene, and nutrition. The most common issues were skin related among the children and child bearing related among the women. A detailed medical record is kept of all participants. There is not public health available in the poor villages there Hope Arises schools are located.
Personal hygiene supplies are distributed to the children and their families on monthly basis.
