The target is that 99% of donations are sent to Bangladesh. The only expenses incurred in Finland and US are banking and IT infrastructure-related costs. All administrative work is performed pro bono (i.e. without compensation).
The same principles also apply to expenses faced in Bangladesh. Administrative expenses in the country include audits, financial controls, office supplies, IT and legal fees.
Our Bangladeshi teachers and the principle are the only paid employees
Our operations in Finland and the United States have the sole function of fundraising. The use of funds in these countries is limited to banking, IT infrastructure costs and possibly social media advertising expenses.
The funds received in Finland and in the US are transferred to Bangladesh on monthly basis to cover the operational costs.
A financial report is produced on monthly basis specifying the use of funds and includes the closing balance of the bank account at the end of the month.
The operations of all three entities (i.e. the Finnish, US, and Bangladeshi teams) are audited as part of the closing of the book each year.

No. The officers are not paid for performing their duties and are not compensated for the meetings of the board of directors. All administrative work is performed on a voluntary basis without compensation.
