Community Health Day at Ramani Pahar

Hope Arises Ramani Pahar school held a a community health day on April 27 2024. The day gathered 95 participants including child students, their siblings, women’s education program participants and community members. Everyone received a medical check up, and over the counter  medication if needed. Preventive health education and a light snack was provided. There were much more need for the health services than the doctor was able to provide   in the allocated time. Resources allowing Hope Arises hopes to expand the Community Health Day to much more participants.

The most common issues were skin related among the children and child bearing related among the women. A detailed medical record is kept of all participants. There is not public health available in the poor villages there Hope Arises schools are located.
