Hope Arises Ramani Pahar welcomes Tonni Sharma to the teaching team

Hope Arises Ramani Pahar welcomes Tonni Sharma to the teaching team. The children love her dearly. She brings experience and passion to our school and ensures that the class size remain between 20-25 students per class. Hope Arises Schools seek to provide employment opportunities to local girls with collage degrees. Our students need role models manifesting the empowering effect of education in pursuing ones dreams. Once students see first hand the benefits of good education they want to pursue their dreams and strive learning new knowledge and skills.

As more girls from rural villages in Bangladesh earn college degrees, it is crucial to create job opportunities for them in their communities. The benefits for them, their students and their communities are numerous:

1. Role Models

Educated women in the workforce serve as role models for younger girls, inspiring them to pursue education and careers. This helps break the cycle of poverty and promotes gender equality.

2. Local Expertise

Women from rural areas possess valuable insights into their communities’ needs. Employing them allows organizations to leverage this local knowledge, ensuring that initiatives are relevant and impactful. Teachers from local communities are used to living in the rural conditions and stay long terms at their jobs.

3. Empowering Women

Job opportunities provide financial independence and a voice for women, enabling them to make important decisions about their lives, education, and health, which benefits their families and communities.

4. Reducing Migration

Many educated women migrate to urban areas for work, which can fragment families and communities. By offering jobs locally, we can reduce this migration pressure and help families stay together.

Creating job opportunities for college-educated girls in rural Bangladesh is essential for economic development, social justice, and gender equality. Investing in their employment not only empowers these women but also enriches their communities and paves the way for a brighter future.
